Erin Berry is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between ceramics, sculpture, metal, biomaterials, and digital fabrication. Working across physical and computational processes, Berry investigates the entanglement of geological, biological, and technological systems. Her sculptural installations combine traditional material practices with 3D scanning, printing, casting, and modular construction, exploring the ways materials are extracted, transformed, replicated, and reconfigured across different temporal and spatial scales.
Berry received her MFA in Ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University (2025) and her BFA from Concordia University, Montréal (2019). Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Greenwich House Pottery, New York; the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery, Waterloo; and the Robert C. Turner Gallery, Alfred. She is the recipient of the 2026 Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics and the Mac Steel BioMaterials Fellowship, alongside support from the Canada Council for the Arts and BC Arts Council.
Her practice has been supported by residencies at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Centre, Harbourfront Centre, Medalta Historic Clay District, and Mac Steel AiR. She is currently an Artist in Residence at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, UK, where she is developing new research across ceramics, glass, biomaterials, and digital fabrication. Her work is represented in public and private collections internationally.
